I’m not too sure if I got to 5, lets see, there was the Cape Town trip with the Aunt, there was *that* trip to the Drakensburg, there was the trip to Nelspruit, and the camping adventure. 4. I’d say not to bad.

Ah… this I did. And it was wonderful. And he was and remains amazing.

Hmmm.. complete fail here. I haven’t got any closer to doing this than when I wrote this list. Conclusion – on next years list.

I sent to… my mother, the boy person I fell in love with. Another boy who I didn’t fall in love with but held my attention… and hmmm…. Ummm… 3 out of 5 is a pass by any ones standards…

Ask a bloke out on a date

Yip… this I did. And the bloke loved it. Lesson learnt – sometimes, boys like you to ask them out.

Fly somewhere for the day

Nope… this I didn’t get right. It shall make the 2627 list, but maybe rather as… fly somewhere for an absolute purpose…

Drive to Durban to see the sunrise

Jaar… I don’t know about this one… what was I thinking.. in a car for 6 hours… to Durban.. which is not my favourite place on any day.

Corrected to rather… “Stay up, to watch the sunrise with someone really interesting.”

Compete in a sporting event

Yes… fuck. I’m ambitious. But we’ll leave this one in. Because well… I live in hope.

Make 4 new friends

This I have done. I have made many many friends this year. From the BFF, to BigTits, the Boy person, the new girl from PE and  supperclub… and then some.

This goes back on the list for next year.

Learn to drive a Forklift

This i should have done – it’s the easiest to do. As there are a few down stairs, but it’s turned out to be the least possible to do. I’m sure at some stage i’ll get this right – but for now. It’s not done. And it’s not going back on the list.

Now… when I put this on the list – I don’t think I gave it much thought.. I just put it there. And of course, as we know… it has been checked. Done.

Hmmm… Yes, well,… no – this has not been done. I’m going to file it under the lack of interest in doing this. ALTHOUGH – if I did happen to get a 3Gs for my birthday, I could do this quite easily. Hold on. In fact if I just updated my current iPhone – I could do this.

Well, I had these grand plans of buying the book on CD to learn French. And then well – that didn’t happen. Well I did write my car off. Anyway the year is done – and I haven’t done it… safe to say. I’m not going to.

Have a naked man cook me dinner

I never quite got the naked part right… but I did have a man cook me lots of dinners. Lots of really amazing dinners. So, as judge and jury of this list. I’d say that ticks this one off the list.

Have coffee/dinner/lunch/sex with Charles

This I haven’t done. And I think it’ll make next years list. Because well… I don’t know why I haven’t done this. Although I’m pretty sure he knows.

Plan a cuppa for cancer function

This did not get done… Should get added to the list, edited to plan a charity function – this makes far more sense.

Put a plan together for my training centre

This has not been done.. But, actual training rooms are currently being built. Can we say… ass about face…? And a plan should be put into place.

Learn to Weld

Another WTF. Although I did meet a very interesting artist who might just give me lessons.

Have sex with Sven

Hmm… another one not done, I should ask Sven if this should make next years lists. Maybe he’s just over the idea of sex with me.

Improve my golf

Ah… that golf club that I bought, which stood in my office… is still there. I’m not sure how I feel about this one. Part of me would still like to give it a good go, and another part of me – well, I think the word is indifferent.

Right so, as i sit here right now at my desk, taking a preBirthday personal day - i’m happy about the list. It was, with out a doubt the best thing i did last year. The best birthday gift i gave myself. So much fun.

I sit here, the day before my 26th birthday puting together the 2627 list. So, far i have 14 items. I couldn’t be more excited if i tried. (I might take suggestions for the other 12.)
