That Next week… i will ACTUALLY go to gym… As in.. get up EARLY enough.. that i make a class.. and not just arrive there around 7:45am walk into the gym, walk out… and head for coffee.

So, distractions… yes… currently i sit with two. 

One…. Is delicious and delightful… creates much excitement…. i really should blog more about this..

Two... Happens to be the continual-never-ending distraction which is my life.. And what shall i do with it right now. I need to change jobs… Currently i am with out challenge, with out inspiration, with out.. well… anything really. 

And so… 

This is the story… as it sit here… on friday… the 4th of June… at Seattle… drinking coffee… listening to Billy Joel's Piano Man…

I’ve heard it said before when one person in a relationship “Checks out of the relationshop”…they’re “there” but not really. And at that point.. it all over. Things should ened right there and then.

Well i’ve checked out of this phase in mylife. I’m here…but not really really…silly pointless time wasting things* are what hold my attention atm. And as exciting as that is Monday through Tuesday.. wednesday i’m bored and somewhat unfulfilled with that.

My first instinct is to move… town/country/continent – but that’s not the issues… I love where i live, i’m a joburg girl, my family is here.. and i just bought that fucking car… So, moving location is pretty much not it.

It’s work.. of course it is… I’ve known for this for about a year now. I think for the first part of the year, i made a good show of forcing myself… but now.. i’m out.

But where.. what.. how… This zone albeit unfulfilling is quite damn comfortable and requires minimal effort…as i sit here and type this at 1:11pm on a tuesday sitting in the sun.

Hmm.. Soup.. from woolies… something with meat balls in. Which was a mistake, because last night, at dinner… meat balls with an egg plant bake was served… i’m not really a FAN of meat balls on a good day. Let alone TWICE in one day.

Jees.. this depends on what the advice is i want… there are many places… my parents, my brother, friends, my therapist.. there is no one place.

Many times i’ve snorkled.. i’ve enver scuba dived.. unless you include being in the pool when my parents did their course..and breathing in their riggs… it’s not really the IT activity of the moment.. now is it?!

Of course, jumping head first into this adventure – i knew this.. i know about paying back… about insurance… about all that kinda thing.

But now the reality is here. 12 hours away. And i've jsut realised that there is going to be a good few k's missing out of my monthly budget from next month. And I happened to be rather comfortable with my previous budget.

I found myself asking myself…. Is blogging Right for me?

Am i wasting my time here. Should i take up scrap booking rather?

1. Do you enjoy writing? – Hmmm.. Yes, i do think so – as i am a serial post card sender, and birthday card sender and general card sender. I like to tell stories, write them in fact . It does amuse me somewhat as i am infact dyslexic…
2. What’s your Message? – Hmmm… Well now – a message, ummm… that i’m fabulous and love myself? That i have shitty days and am depressed sometimes…. I can be funny….?! [Maybe i need to work on the 'message'] 
3. Are you a good communicator? – Yes, Very good. Have a chat with me and you’ll find out…  
4. Are you better at writing or speaking? – Ummm… i need to ask someone who talks to me in RL and reads my blog. I would say – i am confident in both.
5. Do you want to be the central voice on your website? – To quote a billion 12 year olds “Dur”.
6. Are you a self starter? – In all fairness… if i don’t start me… who is going to start me..?!

12. Do you take yourself too Seriously? - Not at all. If i did, i suspect i might have ended it aaaalll along time ago.

14. Are you willing to learn? – Indeed i am. Why today i learnt… the differences between Frankfurt and Munich, Granted the person i learnt this from is not a blogger, in fact is anti blogging – but i believe it shows my willings to learn.
15. Do you enjoy reading? – I do, even though i’ve been suffering a slight reading drought ATM.  I am working through it. Page, by Page.
16. Are you an organized person? – Hmmm I appear organised. It seems to work.
